We are located right next to the Torne River, where tens of thousands of wild Atlantic salmon make their way upstream every year.

What kinds of berries, mushrooms, meats and fish can be found north of the Arctic Circle – and how were they traditionally preserved to survive the long winter?

You’ll get the chance to experience our local sauna culture. We heat up the outdoor sauna and spend a final afternoon together in the garden.

We take a leisurely walk together through the charming village of Junosuando and visit local residents.
