A Northern Lights experience built on timing, local knowledge, and Arctic silence.
This is not about chasing the Northern Lights or choosing a date in advance. It is about being there when the moment is right.
We live under the Aurora Oval in far northern Lapland, where Northern Lights activity is naturally high. With years of experience following these skies, we wait for the right conditions instead of rushing into the night.
You simply share your travel dates in Hetta. We follow the forecasts each day, and when the conditions look promising, we contact you and invite you to join. You can then decide if it feels right and confirm your participation.
When you join the expedition, we take you far from artificial lights into the Arctic wilderness. In winter, you travel quietly through a snow-covered forest by snowmobile sleigh. In autumn, you drive to a remote location where the sky opens wide above you.
There is no noise, no crowds, and no distractions. In complete darkness, even subtle auroras are visible to the naked eye. And when they appear, the experience is not just something you see, but something you feel.
If the Northern Lights do not appear, you will still experience the deep silence of the Arctic wilderness and a sky full of stars and in that case the experience is on us. You will receive a full refund.

You do not need to choose a specific date or pay in advance.
Simply send a reservation request with your travel dates in Hetta. During this step, a small placeholder price may appear in the system, you can ignore this. No payment is required at this stage.
We follow the conditions each day, and when the chances look promising, we will contact you and invite you to join the expedition.
You can then decide if you want to confirm your place. Payment is only made after confirmation.
If the Northern Lights do not appear during your experience, you will receive a full refund.
