A 4-day dog sledding expedition starting and ending at Trasti & Trine, taking you into the Arctic wilderness of Finnmarksvidda.
After a safety briefing and meeting your huskies, you set off by sled into the mountains. Each day you travel through varied Arctic terrain, climbing into Finnmarksvidda, crossing frozen lakes, valleys, forests, and wide open plateauswith lunch breaks around open fires.
You stay overnight in remote mountain lodges, where you care for the dogs, share meals, and rest after each day’s journey. One of the highlights is crossing Lake Iesjavrre, the largest lake in Finnmark.
The final day brings you back toward the kennel, with optional detours for spectacular views if conditions allow.
You drive your own team of 4–6 huskies throughout the trip. The tour includes accommodation, meals, sled, dogs, guide, and all necessary equipment.
