Traditional smokesauna

The smoke sauna is an introduction to the traditional sauna experience. On the shore of Lake Hautajärvi, 300 m from the main building, you will find our smoke sauna and the adjacent "Pihlajapellon Torppa". The logs of the sauna are from an old reef built in the early 19th century.

The smoke sauna can seat twenty people to enjoy the fire. The sauna has modern washing facilities for both men and women.

In summer, a beach and a boat are available.

The Pihlajapelto croft, an old smokehouse built in the 1860s, serves as a recreation area. Its dark walls tell the story of the past as a genuine smokehouse. The main room with its plush fireplace offers a genuine old peasant atmosphere with its black walls and ceilings for a sauna evening or even a meeting.

Traditional sauna experience includes a sauna session in the smoke sauna, towels, shower facilities and use of the room. The price is €470 and additional hours €50/hour. For more than 20 people, an additional towel charge of €10 per person.
