Tarina-Aho's family rooms offer a unique combination of traditional Karelian atmosphere and natural tranquillity on the Kelvänsaari island of Pielinen, in the middle of the Koli National Landscape.

These rooms are an ideal choice for families or groups of friends looking for an authentic and unhurried holiday experience.

In the traditional island style, Tarina-Aho has well-maintained outhouse and a bathing style in the sauna or in the lake!

Tarina-Aho family rooms are located in traditional log buildings, which have been transferred to Kelvänsaari from North Karelia. Each room is decorated in a warm and cosy style, combining rag rugs, stunning log walls and old-fashioned objects. The rooms comfortably accommodate four people.

The price includes a garden breakfast, served in the Kuusela cottage or outside, weather permitting. Breakfast includes fresh oat bread, yoghurt with homemade cinnamon granola and seasonal berries, juice, coffee and tea. Gluten-free and vegan options are also available by pre-order. Please let us know in advance as we cannot guarantee availability on site!
