Glamping sauna wagon

Wake up to the gentle lapping of the waves of Lake Näsijärvi and the soothing whisper of the wind through the treetops. Your lungs fill with clean outdoor air, refreshing your mind as you snuggle under the warm blanket, in luxurious sheets, before morning sauna.

Experience the steams "löyly" of a sauna wagon on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi. This wood-heated sauna is one of Finland's oldest wagon saunas and is handmade from own forests wood. Enjoy the silence of the nature sleeping in a cosy sauna wagon total 10 m2, including 4m2 sauna. This fully off-grid sauna is fully at your private use.

With the authentic Finnish sauna you can also warm the sleeping area a bit. Please note that the temperature indoors will always drop to the outside temperature during night.

Accommodation in a sauna wagon always includes pre-made beds with high-quality linens, bath and face towels. 

The sauna wagon is located in a quiet and private location on Tahlo, offering stunning views of Lake Näsijärvi and seated just by the shoreline. There is a private swimming pier. Please note! To reach the sauna the last 100 meters is a walking in a forest.

Only 40 minutes drive from Tampere city. In a hidden place on the shores of lake Näsijärvi you find LGBTQ-friendly glamping accommodations of Tahlo.

In sauna there are basic campfire cooking equipment for use with a gas stove. A firepit, summer kitchen, and additional open-fire cooking gear are available at the communal lean-to shelter, located about 150 meters from the sauna.

Add some more pampering to your stay! Hot tub (palju) is available - pre-heated or heated by yourself. Local food breakfast, canoe and rowing boat and the Forgotten in the Mist escape room game at an additional price. Guided sauna experiences available on request.

Glamping in Tahlo includes always: 

• Ready made beds with good quality linen for two, double pillows and towels, extra blankets

• Solar cell lights

• Wood-heating sauna, you'll warm the sauna yourself, firewood is provided, eco-friendly soaps and shampoos

• The sauna wagon with a sleeping area, tables and shelves and the sauna is hand made of local wood and sustainable materials.

• A pier and swimming spot right next to the sauna wagon

• Outhouse (dry toilet) 

• There is no running drinking water, which we will supply you with

• Camping stove with gas, pan, pot, plates, mugs and cutlery

• Tahlo shelter and a fireplace with firewood at your use, summer kitchenette with basic campfire cooking utensils: campfire pan, barbeque sticks,  soot pot

• Cooler bag with ice bricks, possible to change the bricks in Tahlo info (2 km from the camp site)

• Cutlery, plates, mugs & glasses for two

• Dishwashing utinsils

• Carts to deliver your luggage to the nature the last 100 meters from the free parking

• A map to Tahlo area with few short hiking tracks
