Huset Lotta – An Idyllic Holiday Home by the Sea

Welcome to Huset Lotta, a charming summer cottage nestled in the peaceful and scenic area of Bågvik. You’ll be just 10 minutes from the archipelago gem Loftahammar and 45 minutes from the vibrant summer town of Västervik. Loftahammar offers a grocery store, bakery, restaurants, tourist office, golf course, marina, and much more. The surrounding area boasts beautiful nature and archipelago landscapes, perfect for hiking, cycling, boat trips, and relaxing moments outdoors.

From the house, enjoy views of the garden and Syrsan Bay – ideal for fishing or sunny afternoons by the water. The spacious garden, complete with outdoor furniture and a glass-enclosed veranda, invites long summer dinners under the open sky. For the active guest, there’s a canoe, pétanque court, and table tennis on the property. There are life jackets available to borrow. Just a 150-meter walk brings you to the sea with a small swimming area shared with neighbors, while a beach and boat dock are only 250 meters away – a perfect starting point to explore the stunning Tjust archipelago by boat (private or rental).

Right outside the house, the forest awaits. Pick berries and mushrooms, or catch a glimpse of sea eagles, deer, foxes, or moose – an unforgettable experience for nature lovers of all ages.

Layout holiday home

Huset Lotta consists of two houses, offering plenty of space for both togetherness and privacy.

• The main house is spacious, with beautiful views and generous living areas – the perfect spot for socializing. Area: approx. 75 sqm.

• The second house is smaller but cozy, offering extra privacy and a homely feel. Area: approx. 54 sqm.

Facilities & Amenities

• Main house: Large kitchen with stove (4 burners), oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and full kitchenware.

• Second house: Small kitchen with two hotplates, microwave, and mini fridge. Please note: no oven or dishwasher.

• Other amenities:

  • Both houses feature air-source heat pumps for heating and cooling.

  • Infrared heater in the conservatory – perfect for cool evenings

Sleeping Arrangements

• Total of 4 bedrooms (2 in each house)

• 3 double beds

• 1 bunk bed – a favorite among children, comfortably sleeping three. Please note that the upper bed has somewhat limited space.

Bathrooms

• Main house: Shower, sink, and standard toilet

• Second house: Shower, sink, and composting toilet

Laundry

• A washing machine is available in the basement for guest use.
