Welcome to Huset Gröndalen — a pleasantly located and well-kept holiday home with sea views, just outside the coastal village of Loftahammar. With room for up to 8 guests, a practical layout, and easy access to the water — just a short walk (300 metres) across a meadow to the shared jetty, this house is a great choice for families or groups who want to enjoy Sweden’s coastline in all seasons.

Huset Gröndalen is quietly situated along a gravel road, just a short walk or bike ride from the centre of Loftahammar — a friendly summer village with restaurants, a grocery store, boat and bike rentals, a golf course, and easy access to the surrounding archipelago.

From the house and terrace, you have a view across the meadow towards Vivassen bay — a peaceful inlet of the Baltic Sea — with passing birdlife adding to the tranquil atmosphere. A shared jetty with two mooring spots and a swim ladder gives you direct access to the bay — ideal for swimming or simply sitting by the water.

Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the calm, sheltered waters around Loftahammar, especially in spring and autumn when conditions are excellent for pike, perch, and sea trout. Bring your own boat or rent one — the jetty makes access to the water easy and convenient.

For a day out, the town of Västervik is only 50 minutes away. Voted Sweden’s most beautiful summer city, it offers a lively marina, cultural events, and charming old-town streets to explore.

Layout holiday home

Huset Gröndalen is located on a private plot with its own garden and outdoor space. A small second house on the same plot remains unused during your stay, and while there is one more house further down the road, the setting feels quiet and relaxed.

The house features:

• A compact but fully equipped kitchen with dining area

• A comfortable living area with windows facing the bay and natural surroundings

• Four small bedrooms, each with a bunk bed (8 beds total) — ideal for families or groups

• A bathroom with shower, toilet, sink, and washing machine

• A furnished terrace with views to the bay

• Access to a shared jetty with two available mooring spots and a swimming ladder
