Huset Gröndalen

Welcome to Huset Gröndalen – a charmingly located and well-maintained holiday home with sea views, just outside the coastal village of Loftahammar. The entire property, consisting of three buildings, is offered, making the stay pleasant for families and groups who enjoy spending time together but also appreciate some privacy. In total, there is space for up to 8 people, distributed across the main house, a smaller house, and a garden guest cabin.

Please note: Although there are more than 8 beds, the maximum number of guests must not exceed 8.

The property is quietly situated along a gravel road, just a short walk or bike ride from the center of Loftahammar – a friendly summer village with restaurants, a grocery store, boat and bicycle rentals, a golf course, and proximity to the archipelago.

From the terrace, you have views over the meadow down to Vivassen Bay – a peaceful part of the Baltic Sea – where birds often pass by, contributing to a calming atmosphere. At the shared jetty, approximately 300 meters away, there are two mooring spots and a swimming ladder – perfect for swimming, fishing, or simply enjoying the water.

Anglers will appreciate the calm and sheltered waters around Loftahammar, especially in spring and autumn when fishing for pike, perch, and sea trout is excellent. Bring your own boat or rent one locally – the jetty makes it easy to get out on the water.

For a day trip, the town of Västervik is only 50 minutes away. It has been repeatedly named Sweden’s most beautiful summer town and offers a cozy town center, a lively small boat harbor, and cultural events during the summer.
