Villa Mistekärr

Welcome to Villa Mistekärr! This charming, spacious, old manor house features high ceilings, wooden floors, and original tiled stoves, nestled within the historic Mistekärr Gård. The property borders beautiful open fields where you can often spot deer and moose, while a forest on the other side is perfect for walks, berry picking, and mushroom hunting. A forest path (about 1 km) leads to the large Frisksjön lake, which boasts a lovely rocky swimming spot. Here, you can also enjoy a rowboat for relaxation or fishing (fishing permits are included, and the rowboat is shared with guests from the other rental houses in Mistekärr). From the holiday home, you have quick access to fantastic cycling paths, and it’s only about 4 kilometers to the charming summer village of Loftahammar, which offers tourist information, grocery stores, restaurants, a bakery, a harbor, and archipelago transport. The charming old town of Västervik is just a one-hour drive away.

This beautifully renovated house provides a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. On the ground floor, you’ll find a fully equipped, newly renovated kitchen, a spacious living room, a cozy lounge area, and a convenient toilet—each contributing to the house's unique and stylish ambiance. A highlight of Villa Mistekärr is its stunning covered veranda, complete with a seating area, barbecue, and swing bench. This delightful space is perfect for outdoor dining and enjoying views of the garden and the adjacent fields. Upstairs, there are three inviting bedrooms and a bathroom featuring a shower, toilet, and a sink with a mirror. Villa Mistekärr accommodates up to 8 guests, with a mix of double beds, single beds, a bunk bed, and a sofa bed.

A private dock on the Baltic Sea is just 2.5 km from the house, accessible via a scenic walking path. This is a perfect spot for fishing, swimming, or mooring your (rental) boat, making it easy to explore the beautiful archipelago. If you wish to rent a motorboat, you can request this at the time of booking.

Villa Mistekärr is part of the small village of Mistekärr, which also includes Huset Hanna (4 persons), Stuga Karin (4 persons), and Huset Arvids Torp (6 persons) nearby. Each house has its own private areas, making them an excellent choice for multiple families vacationing together!
