Stuga Snickarstugan

Welcome to Stuga Snickarstugan, located in Aleglo, a beautiful historic area of Loftahammar on a lovely hill. This charming cottage was once a carpenter’s workshop (which is what the name means), making it feel like a story from an Astrid Lindgren book!

In Aleglo, you can visit an old mill that now serves as a museum and community center. You can walk or bike to the village of Loftahammar (1.5 km), where you will find tourist information, supermarkets, restaurants, a golf course, playground, archipelago transport, and more. There are also beautiful walking paths that lead along the stunning Baltic Sea.

Layout holiday home

The old cottage has been updated into a summer house with all the necessary amenities. On the ground floor, there is a kitchen, a living room, and a bathroom. The kitchen is basic but functional, featuring an electric stove and oven, refrigerator and freezer, microwave, and coffee maker. The living room offers a sitting area and dining table. A staircase leads to the upper floor, where you will find two connected bedrooms, each with two single beds. There is also a crib available for younger children.

A door from the kitchen opens to a large terrace where you can relax in the sun until evening. Since this terrace is adjacent to the kitchen, it’s a great spot for outdoor meals. The terrace also offers lovely views of the countryside and leads to a big garden with plenty of space for playing, plus a cute playhouse for kids. You will have neighbors nearby, but they are far enough away to ensure your privacy.

At Stuga Snickarstugan, pets are welcome, and you can even bring your horse to stay in the stable!
