Huset Ytterby

Huset Ytterby is situated directly by the sea in a stunning forest area on Stora Askö, an island just 15 km from Loftahammar, easily accessible via a bridge. This island is part of the Northern Tjust Archipelago, often described as one of the most beautiful archipelagos in Sweden. Here, you'll find a close connection to both the sea and nature, with various hiking trails nearby.

The property is perched on a picturesque cliff with terraces at different levels, providing a peaceful and natural setting to enjoy breathtaking sea views. At the water's edge, there's a large jetty that also serves as a terrace, where you can moor your (rental) boat. A short hike through the forest leads to a child-friendly sandy beach and a beautiful rocky bathing area, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the serene natural environment.

Layout holiday home

The main cottage features a cozy living room (with satellite TV) that connects to an open kitchen, a small porch, and a bathroom equipped with a toilet, sink, shower and a washing machine. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a refrigerator (no freezer), dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, and an electric stove with an oven. The living area includes a sofa bed with a slatted frame (double bed). The porch, accessible from the living room, offers stunning sea views and can be transformed to an extra bedroom. The main bedroom is located in a second cottage and includes a double bed with two sleeping spaces, as well as a small closet and dresser. The two cottages are connected by a spacious, wind-protected wooden terrace of 50 sqm, featuring a dining table, two sun loungers, and a Weber grill. Parking is available along the road, and the cabin is accessible via a 50-meter walking path, ensuring a pleasant approach to your seaside retreat.

With private access to the sea and your own jetty (approximately 35 square meters), your stay at Huset Ytterby promises a delightful escape into nature.
