Huset Hellerö

Welcome to Huset Hellerö, a charming Swedish holiday home surrounded by forests and nature in the beautiful Småland countryside. Accommodating up to 8 guests (maximum 6 adults), Hellerö offers plenty of space for families seeking a peaceful holiday together.

The property consists of a traditional main house, two guest houses and a private Swedish sauna, all set within a large garden with plenty of room for children to play and adults to relax. With no close neighbours and nature all around, Hellerö is the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the tranquillity of rural Sweden.

The house

Built in 1929, the main house has retained its traditional Swedish character while offering the comforts needed for a relaxing stay.

On the ground floor you will find a cosy living room with an open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen with dining area, and a bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin. The bright garden room overlooking the garden is a wonderful place to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or unwind after a day exploring the area.

Sleeping arrangements

The sleeping areas are spread across the main house and two guest houses.

Main house (upstairs)

• Bedroom with double bed and two curtained sleeping alcoves suitable for children

Please note that some sleeping areas are connected and offer less privacy than separate bedrooms. The layout is particularly suitable for families travelling together.

Outdoor living

One of Hellerö's greatest strengths is its outdoor setting. The large garden offers plenty of space for games and activities. Children will enjoy the swings, sandbox and open areas, while adults can relax on the terrace and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Guests often spend their evenings outside enjoying dinner, using the barbecue or listening to the sounds of nature. Wildlife is frequently spotted in the surrounding forests and meadows, including deer, cranes and, with a bit of luck, even moose.

Sauna

A Swedish holiday would not be complete without a sauna. Hellerö has its own sauna building with a relaxation area and extra shower, perfect after a day of hiking, swimming or exploring Småland.

For larger groups, an outdoor shower and traditional outdoor toilet are also available.

Comfort throughout the seasons

The main house and both guest houses are equipped with electric heating, ensuring a comfortable stay during spring, summer and autumn.

Location

Huset Hellerö is located in a peaceful rural setting surrounded by forests and nature.

A quiet swimming area in Söderkogen is just 4 km away, perfect for a refreshing swim or a relaxing day by the water.

The charming summer village of Loftahammar is approximately 10 km away. Here you will find a supermarket, bakery, restaurants, tourist information centre, golf course and ferry connections to the archipelago. During summer, Loftahammar offers everything needed for a comfortable holiday.
