Huset Hellerö

Huset Hellerö is the perfect place to stay for those who love nature and tranquility. It’s an old and traditional wooden house, painted in red with white windows. Although the house dates to 1929, renovations have provided more comfortable amenities. The house and the associated cabins in the garden can accommodate a maximum of 6 adults and 2 children. The property is surrounded by forest, with no immediate neighbors, creating a secluded and peaceful atmosphere. Nearby, you can find meadows where you might spot wildlife such as deer, moose, badgers, and cranes. Just 4 km from the house, there is a lovely and tranquil swimming area in Söderkogen. The summer village of Loftahammar is about 10 kilometers away, where you can find tourist information, archipelago traffic, a grocery store, bakery, restaurant, golf course, and more.

Layout holidays home

The old house, with its many wooden surfaces, exudes a cozy and inviting Scandinavian atmosphere. On the ground floor, you will find a well-equipped kitchen with a dining table, perfect for shared meals. The cozy living room, furnished with an open fireplace, sofa bed, and rocking chair, is an ideal spot to enjoy the cooler spring and autumn evenings.

From the living room, a staircase leads up to the upper floor, which has two rooms. The first room is a small passage room with a sofa bed, TV, and DVD player, and behind this room lies the large bedroom with a double bed and two sleeping spaces for children hidden behind curtains.

On the southern side of the house, there is a garden room with a view of the large garden, where you can enjoy the lovely outdoor life regardless of the weather. The garden blooms with roses, bushes, and flowers, and the large lawn with a swing and sandbox invites children to play and explore. From the garden room, you also have access to the bathroom, which is equipped with a shower, toilet, and sink, conveniently located near both the house and the cabins.

In the garden, there is a cabin with a double bed and a slightly larger cabin with a living room and bedroom, also featuring a double bed. All rooms have electric heating for extra comfort.

In the barn, there is a sauna with a relaxation room and an extra shower, perfect for unwinding after a long day outdoors. For larger groups, there is also a practical outdoor shower and an outdoor toilet in the garden.
