Huset Hanna

This charming, beautifully renovated house from 1890 offers a comfortable stay for up to 6 guests. Located in the village of Mistekärr, Huset Hanna is part of a large estate with barns and other holiday homes. The spacious garden surrounding the house is ideal for children to play, and you can enjoy stunning views of the vast fields, giving you a true sense of freedom in the Swedish countryside. If you sit quietly on the porch at dusk, you might even catch a glimpse of a moose!

Perfect walking and cycling paths wind around the estate. A forest trail (about 800 m) leads to the Frisksjön lake, where you can relax, explore by rowing boat (shared with other guests), or fish (fishing permit included in the rental). Frisksjön also offers great swimming spots with sandy bottoms and rocky areas. From Huset Hanna, you’ll quickly reach fantastic cycling routes, and it’s about 4 km to the village of Loftahammar, where you’ll find tourist information, bike and boat rentals, supermarket, bakery, restaurant, golf course and more.

Huset Hanna is elegantly renovated in Scandinavian patterns and colors, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The charming entrance leads to a modern kitchen, featuring a sleek design with a calming green color and a wood-burning stove. The kitchen is well-equipped with all essential modern amenities, including an electric stove with oven, fridge-freezer combination, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, kitchenware, and more.

From the kitchen, you can access the dining room, which opens onto a covered terrace furnished with garden furniture and a grill—perfect for enjoying the garden views. The cozy living room has a seating area with a TV, additional armchairs by the fireplace, and a reading nook.

A spacious hallway leads upstairs to two roomy and inviting bedrooms: one with a double bed and one with two single beds. Behind the second bedroom, there is a small extra room with two additional single beds. Upstairs also features a compact bathroom, fully equipped with all comforts for a pleasant stay, including a toilet, shower, sink, and washing machine.

A private dock in the Baltic Sea is only 2.5 km from the house, accessible via a scenic walking path. It is a perfect spot for fishing, swimming, or mooring your (rental) boat, making it easy to explore the beautiful archipelago. If you wish to rent a motorboat, you can request this at the time of booking.

Huset Hanna is part of the small village of Mistekärr, with also Villa Mistekärr (8 persons), Stuga Karin (4 persons) and Huset Arvids Torp (6 persons) nearby. Each house has its own private areas, making them an excellent place for multiple families to vacation together!
