Bodlängan

Bodlängan is Silverskär’s newest accommodation option, completed in June 2022. The building draws inspiration from the traditional boathouses that once stood on the island, but behind its discreet wooden façade lies a modern and sustainable hotel experience.

It features six double rooms, each with a private bathroom and a unique interior design that tells stories from Åland’s history. One room has walls clad in traditional wooden shingles, while another incorporates planks from an 18th-century carvel-built boat. The scent of wood and the carefully considered design create a warm and inviting atmosphere—perfect for guests seeking both comfort and character.
