Meet waterfowl and beavers
Take a 2–3-hour hike upstream from the Sauga River. A narrow and beautifully scenic stretch of the river offers stunning and picturesque views. It is definitely worth keeping an eye out for bird species roaming the water and its banks. If you are observant, you may also spot beavers or see signs of their activity. In summer, the entire river is covered with water lilies.
