Your adventure begins at our Safari House in the center of Ruka village. After gearing up with a floating suit, helmet, and life vest, our guide will take you to the beautiful Kiveskoski rapid. Following safety instructions, it’s time to surrender to the gentle current and drift peacefully downstream. Look up – the starry sky is dazzling, and with a little luck, you may even catch the unforgettable dance of the northern lights.
You will enjoy two floating sessions, each lasting about 15 minutes. Afterward, we warm up with a hot drink by the riverside.
This is truly an adventure everyone should experience at least once during their stay.

We provide all necessary equipment. Under the floating suit, we recommend wearing your own warm outdoor clothing, such as thermal underwear. On top, we will add a winter overall, hood, floating suit, gloves, life vest, and helmet. Our guides are happy to give further tips on how to dress for the adventure.
