Visit to Husky Farm and 45 min Husky Safari

Your safari begins at the Rukapalvelu Safarihouse in Ruka village, where you’ll be provided with winter clothing to keep you warm throughout the journey. Once dressed, we’ll drive to the husky farm, where eager huskies await your arrival.

The husky safari will take you through a snowy forest on a 10 km route (2 people / sled). The duration of the ride is about 90 minutes. After the ride, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and take pictures with the friendly huskies.

Snacks will be enjoyed before heading back to our Safarihouse.

Minimum group size on this excursion is 2 adults. 

Registration for the activity must be done by 4 p.m. on the previous day.

If we are unable to reach the minimum size by 4 p.m. on the previous day, the excursion will be cancelled, and payment will be refunded.

All safaris begin and end at Rukapalvelu Safarihouse. 

We provide all the necessary equipment for the program. We recommend wearing your own outdoor-friendly clothes/woolen base layers, on top of which we will provide a winter suit, wool socks, winter boots, and gloves. We are happy to provide more information on suitable clothing.
