Embark on a two-hour snowmobile ride through stunning winter landscapes. During the excursion we'll also enjoy sausages, sandwiches and coffee by a campfire.
Registration for the activity must be done by 4 p.m. on the previous day.
Minimum group size on this excursion is 4 adults. If we are unable to reach the minimum size by 4 p.m. on the previous day, the excursion will be cancelled and payment will be refunded.
In the beginning of winter the lack of snow may cause trip cancellations. In such cases, our sales office will let you know latest the day before the excursion.
The minimum height for the snowmobile safaris is 140cm for safety reasons.
The age limit for the person driving the snowmobile is minimum 15 years, and the person must have at least a class T driver's license. The driver is responsible for any damages to the snowmobile, and self-liability in case of an accident is 1500€.
Driving the snowmobile under the influence of alcohol is forbidden.
All safaris begin and end at Rukapalvelu Safarihouse.
We provide all the necessary equipment for the program. We recommend wearing your own outdoor-friendly clothes/woolen base layers, on top of which we will provide a winter suit, wool socks, winter boots, gloves, a balaclava, and a helmet. We are happy to provide more information on suitable clothing.
If you are the driver, please remember to take your valid driver's license with you to the safari. Our guide will check the licenses of all drivers before the safari.
