Join us for an unforgettable snowshoeing adventure through the enchanting snowy forests of Oulanka National Park!
Our experienced guide will lead you along the scenic Kitka River, where you’ll view the wild Aallokkokoski Rapids and visit the picturesque Myllykoski, one of the most photographed spots in Kuusamo. Admire the majestic, snow-laden trees that create a winter wonderland like no other.
We will end our journey with a cozy gathering around an open fire, where you can enjoy delicious grilled sausages, fresh sandwiches, and traditional campfire coffee. Come and experience the magic of winter with us!
Minimum group size on this excursion is 4 adults. Registration for the activity must be done by 4 p.m. on the previous day.
If we are unable to reach the minimum size by 4 p.m. the previous day, the excursion will be cancelled and payment will be refunded.
Minimum age for the participants is 7 years.
All safaris begin and end at the Rukapalvelu Safarihouse.
We provide all the necessary equipment for the program. We recommend wearing your own outdoor-friendly clothes/woolen base layers, on top of which we will provide a winter suit, wool socks, winter boots, and gloves. We are happy to provide more information on suitable clothing.
