Winter Hike in Riisitunturi National Park

Join us on an unforgettable snowshoeing adventure through the breathtaking winter landscapes of Riisitunturi National Park. Led by our experienced guide, you’ll wander along scenic trails surrounded by snow-covered trees, taking in stunning views of the distant winter horizon. Feel the magic of the untouched nature as you explore this winter wonderland.

To end the journey, we’ll gather around an open fire to enjoy grilled sausages, freshly made sandwiches, and a warm cup of coffee or tea. Come and experience the charm and tranquility of winter with us!

Minimum group size on this excursion is 4 adults. Registration for the activity must be done by 4 p.m. on the previous day.

If we are unable to reach the minimum size by 4 p.m. the previous day, the excursion will be cancelled and payment will be refunded.

The recommended minimum age for participants is 10 years.

All safaris begin and end at the Rukapalvelu Safarihouse. 

We provide all the necessary equipment for the program. We recommend wearing your own outdoor-friendly clothes/woolen base layers, on top of which we will provide a winter suit, wool socks, winter boots, and gloves. We are happy to provide more information on suitable clothing.
