Join us for a winter wonderland experience like no other!
Meet the adorable huskies and reindeer as you climb aboard a husky or reindeer-drawn sleigh and glide through a stunning landscape of snowy trees. You'll also get the opportunity to feed the reindeer.
Unleash your adventurous spirit with a snowmobile ride at our wilderness camp. We also have snowmobiles for children, ensuring fun for the entire family.
Enjoy a toboggan ride, sculpt your own snow masterpiece, and enjoy grilled sausages over an open fire. We also serve soup lunch in our wilderness restaurant. All this while surrounded by the enchanting winter wonderland of Kuusamo.
Program includes winter clothing and transportation from Ruka village (Safarihouse) and Spa Hotel Kuusamon Tropiikki. It is also possible to arrive with your own transportation to the wilderness camp.
Registration for the activity must be done by 4 p.m. on the previous day.
Minimum group size on this excursion is 20 persons. If we are unable to reach the minimum size by 4 p.m. on the previous day, the excursion will be cancelled, and payment will be refunded.
Winter day begins and ends at Rukapalvelu Safarihouse.
We provide all the necessary equipment for the program. We recommend wearing your own outdoor-friendly clothes/woolen base layers, on top of which we will provide a winter suit, wool socks, winter boots, and gloves. We are happy to provide more information on suitable clothing.
