Highlights of Arctic Animals is a fun and easygoing winter experience package designed to give you a taste of Arctic activities. This Husky, Reindeer and Snowmobiling Combo is perfect for families and travelers who want to enjoy several winter highlights during one visit.
Meet the adorable huskies and reindeer as you climb aboard a sleigh pulled by huskies or reindeer and glide through a beautiful snowy landscape. The husky safari is approximately 1.2 km long and partly takes place in the forest. You will also enjoy a 300-meter reindeer sleigh ride while hearing stories and learning about reindeer and local traditions. There will also be an opportunity to feed the reindeer.
At the wilderness camp, you can experience a short snowmobile ride, while children can enjoy their own mini snowmobiles. The program also includes tobogganing, snow activities, grilled sausages by an open fire, and a soup lunch served in our wilderness restaurant.
This experience is ideal for guests looking for a relaxed introduction to Lapland’s most popular winter activities in one convenient package.
The program includes winter clothing and transportation from Rukapalvelu Gear House and Spa Hotel Kuusamon Tropiikki. It is also possible to arrive at the wilderness camp using your own transportation.
