Hiidenkivi

Hiidenkivi is a peaceful lakeside cottage in Finland for up to six guests, located on the shore of Lake Härkäjärvi. Surrounded by forest, the cottage offers privacy and tranquillity for families, friends and guests planning a fishing holiday in Finland.

The nearest neighbouring cottage is approximately 200 metres away, and the nearest shops are about 20 kilometres from the cottage.

Hiidenkivi has six separate beds. There are two bedrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs, plus beds for two guests in the upstairs hallway.

The ground floor includes a kitchen and living room, bedroom, traditional wood-heated Finnish sauna, washroom with shower cabin and toilet. Upstairs there is another bedroom, hallway and balcony.

Outside the cottage you will find a campfire area, gas grill and space for outdoor games. The surrounding forests are ideal for walking, berry picking and mushroom picking. Puula Golf and Häkärinteet ski slopes are both about a 30-minute drive away.

Hiidenkivi is an excellent choice for a fishing holiday in Finland. Lake Härkäjärvi offers good fishing for pike, perch, zander and roach.

Two rowing boats are available at the cottage. A 9.8 hp petrol outboard motor can be rented for one of the boats. An electric motor is also available for either boat, and a 100 Ah lithium battery is well suited for approximately 3–4 hours of fishing.

The cottage is also well suited for anglers bringing their own boat. With a four-wheel-drive vehicle, a boat can be launched directly from the cottage shore.

Rock and Lake also offers larger rental fishing boats for more active sport fishing. Guided fishing trips can be booked, and the trip can start directly from the cottage jetty.

After a day outdoors, you can relax in the traditional Finnish sauna and enjoy the peaceful lakeside setting.

The cottage price includes final cleaning, bed linen, beds made ready for your arrival and towels.

Pets are welcome. The pet fee is 50 € per stay.
