This package is especially well suited for active anglers who want to make the most of the long spring days on the water and experience the best fishing opportunities in the area with an experienced guide.
May offers excellent conditions, especially for pike fishing. The long and bright spring days give you plenty of time to fish while also allowing you to enjoy nature at its finest as it comes back to life after winter.
What’s included
The package includes accommodation in either Kiviniemi or Tiilikka cottage, two guided 8-hour fishing trips, and the use of the Flatrock fishing boat for the entire holiday for independent fishing. This allows you to combine the freedom of self-guided fishing with the benefits of a local guide’s knowledge and experience.
Arrival takes place on Wednesday at Kiviniemi cottage. When the cottage is handed over to you, you will also receive the Flatrock boat for your use throughout the holiday. Wednesday evening and Thursday are reserved for independent fishing. On Friday and Saturday, you will head out with the guide to explore the diverse fishing opportunities of Lake Kyyvesi.
During each 8-hour guided fishing day, you will have time to fish several productive spots that the guide knows through many years of experience. The main focus is on pike fishing, but Lake Kyyvesi also offers good opportunities for zander fishing.
Departure can be arranged either as a morning trip starting at 7:00 or as an afternoon-focused trip starting at 14:00.
A late check-out on Sunday can be arranged for 4-night bookings.
If the booking is for 5 nights and continues until Monday, Sunday still gives you plenty of time for independent fishing.
Flatrock boat for independent fishing
For independent fishing, you will have access to the Flatrock aluminium boat, which is very well suited for active fishing. The boat is equipped with a 9.9 hp Yamaha four-stroke engine, a Minn Kota electric motor with GPS anchor, Lowrance Elite FS 9 Active Imaging 3-in-1 electronics, 8 rod holders, a landing net, and a fish box. The boat is available at the cottage shoreline. Fishing takes place on Lake Soukkio, which is approximately 3 km long.
Boat used on guided trips
On the guided fishing days, you will fish from a modern Finval 555 Fish Pro boat. The boat is equipped with a 200 hp engine, Lowrance LIVE sonar, and a Lowrance electric motor, making fishing accurate, efficient, and smooth even in changing conditions. Guided fishing takes place on Lake Kyyvesi. The harbour departure point is only a 10-minute drive from the cottage.

Fishing permits and meals are not included in the price.
If the cool spring weather surprises you, flotation suits are available for an additional charge of €30 per person.
