Game Play

The round is approximately 2 km long, and it takes about two hours to play. The Farmersgolf® course consists of 10 fairways. The holes are spaced 100-350 meters apart and are marked with red flags. The club is a wooden clog with a striking handle, and the ball is an air-filled leather ball.

Farmersgolf is played in teams, with a maximum of 5 members per team. However, the game can also be played with two players or in smaller groups.

Rules

The first team starts from the designated starting area, and then the other teams take their opening shots in turn. The team whose ball is farthest from the hole always takes the next shot. Team members take turns hitting the ball.

The next hole is played once all teams have hit their balls into the hole. The next hole begins 4 meters from the previous hole in a new direction. This continues until all 10 holes are played.

The ball can always be moved up to the length of the club, except in the direction of the hole. If the ball goes into a ditch, tall grass, or outside the fairway, it can be moved back onto the course at the same spot, but this results in a one-stroke penalty for the team.

The strokes of the teams are recorded on a scorecard, and the team with the fewest strokes at the end of the round is the winner.
