Villa Aarreaitta is a 112 m² log villa designed by an architect and completed in 2025. Built from hand-carved Finnish logs, it combines timeless craftsmanship with modern comfort.

Villa Aarreaitta is a handcrafted log villa built in early 2025 with no compromises in time or effort. All around you, you’ll find artisan-made details such as custom furniture, the kitchen, stairs, shelves, beds, and much more.

With its spacious 112 m² layout, Aarreaitta is ideal for families, one or more couples, and groups of friends or colleagues. All four bedrooms offer privacy, while the cozy downstairs living area brings everyone together.

The villa is located just a couple of kilometers from the Iso-Syöte ski slopes, surrounded by stunning national park scenery, yet far enough from the lights to allow for northern light watching. Some of the best outdoor trails begin almost right at the doorstep.

The ground floor features a bright and atmospheric living area highlighted by handcrafted spiral stairs. Large panoramic windows open to a serene spruce forest facing south. The fully equipped kitchen includes all modern conveniences, and guests can dine at a custom-built wooden table made by a local carpenter.

Downstairs are two beautiful bedrooms, one of which has a bunk bed for three. Two additional cozy bedrooms are upstairs on opposite sides, with a children’s play corner in between.

The ground floor also includes a bathroom, separate toilet, and a utility room with a drying cabinet, offering full comfort during your stay.

In the privacy of the backyard stands a separate traditional wood-heated log sauna, a rarity today. After relaxing in the gentle steam, you can dip into the small cold plunge for an authentic Arctic experience. Next to the sauna is a covered terrace with an outdoor dining area, perfect for summer meals.

Beside the sauna, surrounded by spruce forest, is a campfire spot with firewood included in the rental.

Guests also have access to two medium-sized fatbikes and other outdoor gear in the heated storage room, free of charge. Syöte offers excellent year-round mountain biking trails.

During the winter season, two Iso-Syöte ski passes are included as a complimentary benefit.

Families with children are well cared for with a travel cot, high chair, PlayStation console, and various toys and games in the play area.

Amenities include two smart TVs, fast internet, a washing machine, drying cabinet, and a fully equipped kitchen. Electric cars can be charged using either a 1-phase (16 A) or 3-phase (16 A) socket, available upon prior arrangement.
