Romantic North - A journey for two

Let the serene wilderness of Northern Finland set the stage for an unforgettable experience—where time slows, the forest listens, and love takes center stage. This is a journey made for two, unfolding in the peaceful heart of the Rokua UNESCO Geopark.

We begin with a gentle walk along Lemmenpolku – the Path of Love, a peaceful 2 km trail through lush boreal forest. As you walk hand in hand beneath ancient trees, you’ll feel the quiet magic of nature drawing you closer—each step a shared moment, each breath a reminder of connection.

At a scenic clearing, you’ll enjoy locally harvested forest berries, a sweet pause in the arms of the wild. Take your time. There's no rush when the forest is your backdrop and your only appointment is with each other.

As the day deepens, your romantic dinner begins aboard a private platform boat gently anchored in the river but still safely near the bank. Surrounded by water and lulled by the soft movement of the waves, you’ll dine beneath open skies and the lingering northern light that never settles in the Summer —just the two of you, encircled by the peace of the river. If the weather turns, your experience continues inside our Panoramic Glass Room Bistro, where the forest and water still embrace you through every window.

We end with a fire ceremony, where you’ll be invited to set intentions for your love—words spoken softly, offerings to the flames, letting your wishes rise with the smoke to be carried into the magic Nordic sky. A pause to honour not just the present, but the path ahead, hand in hand.
