Step into a living forest and discover the quiet wisdom of Nordic herbs, in every season. Surrounded by forests rich with spruce and other local plants, you’ll learn how to harvest what nature offers—whether under the midnight sun or in the stillness of winter, when resilient spruces continue to provide their gifts.
Guided by tradition, already inside the Glass Room or outside depending on season, you’ll craft your own natural lip balm—an essential item for Finns in Winter—or a nourishing hand cream using spruce and other wild ingredients. For those curious, you can even incorporate a touch of authentic Finnish tar for a very deep, earthy character.
This hands-on workshop invites you to slow down and develop a true sense of belonging to nature. You’ll gather, create, and connect with the forest in a way that feels both grounding and magical—like harvesting for your own food and products in a fairytale.
We finish by preparing herbal tea and baking cookies infused with the same ingredients, bringing the flavours and aromas of the forest into a warm, shared moment.
