Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort - 1 bedroom, 2 person apartment

Kaarna - C house has two apartments and this one is suitable for 1-2 people. Pets are welcome to stay in this apartment. The apartment has a bedroom with a beds next to each other, a cozy dining and lounge area with a kitchenette. Also ensuite bathroom/toilet. The sauna facilities of the Kaarna house are shared with the apartment next door. Complimentary Wi-Fi for guest use.

There is also a separate sauna house for shared use by all customers, with separate saunas for women and men. There is also common room with fireplace and a swimming pool. The saunas are available every day from 6 pm to 8 pm. In the sauna building is also warm ski maintenance room.

The accommodation rate includes bed linen, towels and after-stay cleaning. Free public parking is possible on site, reservation is not required. Smoking is prohibited inside of any building.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESORT Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort is located in Laanila, about 4 km from the center of Saariselkä. Buildings are on a wonderful 1.8-hectare plot in the heart of Lapland's nature. There are two similar large cottages at the site: Kiilo (A House- lower house) and Rautu (B House- upper house), as well as a smaller cottage Kaarna (C House).

The place is ideal for seeing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) when it's cold and the frosty sky is clear. Outdoor hiking trails and cycling routes, e.g. UK National Park are starting about 100 meters away.
