Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort - 4 person room, shared bathroom

Quadruple room #62 Kaira is located in lower, A house called Kiilo. The room has four separate beds, a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV and a good wardrobe. The bathroom and toilet are in common areas.

The guest house also has a well-equipped kitchen for common use with all customers and a large and comfortable living room. The living room has a large fireplace made of natural stones, flat screen TV and several soft sofas, armchairs and tables. During the summer and autumn, there is also a shared summer terrace and an electric barbeque grill outside the accommodation house.

The shared equipment of the house includes also a washing machine, clothes drying cabinet, iron and ironing board. Complimentary Wi-Fi for guest use.

There is also a distinct sauna house for shared use by all customers, with sauna´s for women and men. There is also common room with fireplace and a swimming pool. The saunas are available every day from 6 pm to 8 pm. In the sauna building is also warm ski maintenance room.

The accommodation rate includes breakfast, bed linen, towels and after-stay cleaning. Breakfast is served at 8.30 to 10.30 am in Cafe-Restaurant Kuukkeli, located in Shopping Center Kuukkeli´s 2nd floor, in the center of Saariselkä. Free public parking is possible on site, reservation is not required. Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESORT Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort is located in Laanila, about 4 km from the center of Saariselkä. Buildings are on a wonderful 1.8-hectare plot in the heart of Lapland's nature. There are two similar large cottages at the site: Kiilo (A House- lower house) and Rautu (B House- upper house), as well as a smaller cottage Kaarna (C House).

The place is ideal for seeing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) when it's cold and the frosty sky is clear. Outdoor hiking trails and cycling routes, e.g. UK National Park are starting about 100 meters away.
