Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort - Studio Apartment for 4 people

There are two four-person studio apartments, one of which is #60 Kero in Kiilo, lower house. Another one, #66 Ruoktu is in Rautu, in the upper house.

The apartment has a combined cozy dining and lounge area with beds for four people, a kitchenette, and bathroom. The apartment has spacious wardrobes and a drying cabinet for clothes.

The guest house also has a well-equipped kitchen for common use for all customers and a large and comfortable living room. The living room has a large fireplace made of natural stones, flat screen TV and a number of soft sofas, armchairs and tables.

During the summer and autumn, there is also a shared summer terrace and and an electric barbeque grill outside of the house. The shared equipment of the house also includes a washing machine, clothes drying cabinet, iron and ironing board. Complimentary Wi-Fi for guest use.

Breakfast is served in Bistro & Café Kuukkeli at Shopping Center Kuukkeli at 8:00-10:00 am, and breakfast transportation is included into price.

The Sauna World is included in the price and available for guests everyday from 6:45 PM to 8:45 PM. Sauna World has two saunas: traditional Smoke sauna and electric sauna with a swimming pool and hot  and cold outdoor tubs! Separate changing rooms for women and men.

Free public parking is possible on site, reservation is not required.

Smoking is prohibited in the accommodation. Pets are not allowed.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT THE RESORT Kuukkeli Log Houses Aurora Resort is located in Laanila, about 4 km from the center of Saariselkä. Buildings are on a wonderful 1.8-hectare plot in the heart of Lapland's nature. There are two similar large cottages at the site: Kiilo (A House- lower house) and Rautu (B House- upper house), as well as a smaller cottage Kaarna (C House).

The place is ideal for seeing the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis) when it's cold and the frosty sky is clear. Outdoor hiking trails and cycling routes, e.g. UK National Park are starting about 100 meters away.
