Experience the Arctic night the traditional way with our experienced local guides and enthusiastic huskies.
Your adventure begins with a scenic 40-minute drive from Lyngen North to the starting point in the beautiful Reisadalen Valley, located within Reisa National Park. As darkness settles over the Arctic landscape, the journey takes on a completely different atmosphere. Along the way, enjoy the silence of the winter wilderness, snowy mountains, and breathtaking Arctic scenery beneath the night sky.
Upon arrival, you will be provided with warm thermal suits, boots, gloves, and hats before receiving a full safety briefing and introduction to the tour.
Then it’s time to meet our excited huskies, always eager to start the journey and greet new guests. Two guests share each sled, giving you the opportunity to experience driving your own dog team through the Arctic wilderness.
Travel through snow-covered forests and silent valleys guided by moonlight, snow reflections, and—if nature allows—the magical Northern Lights dancing above. Dog sledding beneath the Arctic night sky is one of the most unforgettable experiences Northern Norway can offer.
The route leads to a cozy hut in the middle of the valley, where you can warm up around an outdoor fireplace with a hot drink before enjoying a warm meal inside the cabin beside a traditional wood stove while listening to stories from your host.
After the break, the adventure continues back through the spectacular Arctic night scenery to the starting point. Throughout the entire experience, you will have plenty of time to interact with the huskies — they love attention and cuddles.
A truly magical Arctic adventure combining nature, tradition, and unforgettable winter experiences beneath the Northern Lights.
