Experience the Arctic the traditional way with our experienced local guides and enthusiastic huskies.
Your adventure begins with a scenic 40-minute drive from Lyngen North to the starting point in the beautiful Reisadalen Valley, located within Reisa National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Arctic fjords, snowy mountains, and untouched winter landscapes.
Upon arrival, you will be provided with warm thermal suits, boots, gloves, and hats before receiving a full safety briefing and introduction to the tour.
Then it’s time to meet our excited huskies, always eager to start the journey and greet new guests. Two guests share each sled, giving you the opportunity to experience driving your own dog team through the Arctic wilderness.
The route takes you through snow-covered forests and spectacular landscapes until reaching a cozy hut in the middle of the valley. Here, you can warm up around an outdoor fireplace with a hot drink before enjoying a warm meal inside the cabin beside a traditional wood stove while listening to stories from your host.
After the break, the adventure continues back through the stunning Arctic scenery to the starting point. Throughout the entire experience, you will have plenty of time to interact with the huskies — they love attention and cuddles.
A perfect Arctic adventure combining nature, tradition, and unforgettable winter experiences in daylight.
