Lucky Ranch Snow Igloo 5 persons

The snow igloo offers an unforgettable stay where you can enjoy the silence, the starry sky, and with luck, the Northern Lights when you step outside from your igloo. Lucky Ranch Snow Igloos are featured in Netflix in a show called The Most Amazing Vacation Rentals (Season 1, episode 4).

There are normal beds inside the igloo. Toilets and shower are located at Lucky Ranch Saloon (next to the igloos) that is open the whole night for the igloo guests. 

The igloo is ideal for adventurous travelers looking for something different. Warm sleeping bags and hot water bottles are provided to ensure a cozy and safe night. Light breakfast is included in the stay.

Lucky Ranch is located near Pyhä Ski Resort and Pyhä-Luosto National Park. This peaceful place offers the perfect setting for a holiday – here you can see reindeers and Northern Lights. Shops and other services can be found 10 km away in the Pyhä center.

Lucky Ranch Saloon serves as a multifunctional space, for example as the starting point for excursions, an equipment rental, a summer café, a restaurant for private bookings, a meeting venue, and more.

Next to Lucky Ranch Saloon is a traditional Finnish lakeside wood-heated sauna, which can be reserved for an extra fee. You can also book a variety of activities, such as horseback riding, snowmobiling, fishing, canoeing, snowshoeing, Northern Lights tours, and more. About the Igloos

Our igloos are rebuilt every December, so they are slightly different each year.

Igloos are allocated based on the number of people in your party.

Facilities

A warm area (the basecamp) is located next to the igloos. Guests who feel cold may sleep on sofas/beds inside.

Please note: There is no toilet or shower inside the igloos. A bathroom and one shower are available at the basecamp.

Luggage is stored in the basecamp common areas. Each igloo has access to a locked safety box (inside the basecamp) for valuables and electronics.

Basecamp Restaurant & Dining

Please note: It is a shared area with other customers, and there is no kitchen access for guests.

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, we offer a 3-course dinner as part of the traditional Finnish lakeside sauna, ice swimming & dinner activity. Reservations can be made on our website.

On other evenings, we offer lighter snacks such as pizza or soup.

Breakfast

Breakfast is included and served from 8:00–10:00.

Health & Safety

The igloo experience is recommended for healthy adults and children.

The temperature inside the igloos is always below 0°C. There is a risk of frostbite, and all guests must ensure they remain inside their winter sleeping bags throughout the night.
