Welcome to Pakkaskuru, where you can enjoy the silence and beautiful landscapes of Lapland! This cosy apartment is located in the peaceful Helukka area of Äkäslompolo. Nature is right on your doorstep, yet the village services are within walking distance.

In the yard you'll find a traditional Lappish kota hut, shared with other guests. It's the perfect place to spend the evening grilling sausages or brewing campfire coffee, listening to the silence of Lapland and gazing at the stars. On winter nights you can watch the northern lights right from the yard.

Cross-country ski trails are just 100 metres away, giving you direct access to Ylläs's network of over 300 kilometres of trails. The ski bus takes you easily to the slopes. Äkäslompolo village's restaurants, cafés and shops, including the famous Jounin Kauppa store, are all within walking distance, so you can enjoy your holiday without a car.

Pakkaskuru is a Laplandway Essential apartment, where you can enjoy your holiday entirely at your own pace at a great price. Linen is not included, so please bring your own or rent it easily from a local laundry service. Final cleaning is the guest's responsibility, so the apartment is clean and ready for the next guests, and you'll find cleaning equipment and clear instructions in the apartment. Your key is in a key box next to the front door, so no key pick-up is needed.
