Our Superior Historic Rooms are individually designed rooms for one or two guests, offering a little more space, comfort and presence while preserving the distinctive atmosphere of the old house. Your stay will be in one of three unique rooms – Jenny, Johan or Johanna – each with its own character, story and connection to Lang’s history.

No two rooms are alike. Carefully chosen furniture, period-inspired interiors, historic details and the architecture of the old merchant’s house give each room a strong sense of place. These are rooms with personality – created for guests who appreciate both comfort and authenticity.

Jenny’s Room has an elegant and warm atmosphere, with a sense of softness and refinement that makes it ideal for a relaxed and memorable stay.

Johan’s Room reflects the world of the merchant and the long commercial history of the house. It has a strong, distinctive character and a feeling of quiet confidence.

Johanna’s Room offers its own interpretation of life in the merchant’s household, combining historical atmosphere with a graceful and welcoming interior.

When booking a Superior Historic Room, you are booking the room category rather than a specific named room. Your room will be selected from Jenny, Johan or Johanna according to availability. If you have a favourite, you are welcome to let us know, and we will do our best to fulfil your wish, although a specific room cannot be guaranteed.
