Historic Double Room

No two rooms are alike. Stay in the heart of Lang Resort’s historic merchant’s house, where every room has its own name, atmosphere and story.

Our Historic Double Rooms are individually designed rooms for one or two guests. Your stay will be in one of three distinctive rooms – Sofia, Anna or Janne – each inspired by the people and stories connected to the house and its past.

No two rooms are alike. Original details, carefully chosen furniture, period-inspired interiors and layers of history create an atmosphere that is very different from a conventional hotel room. Here, the room itself is part of the experience.

Sofia’s Room is intimate, romantic and especially atmospheric. Its small scale gives it a wonderfully cosy character, and it has become a particular favourite among many of our guests.

Anna’s Room takes its name from the young women who worked in the merchant’s shop. Warm, welcoming and full of character, it reflects the everyday life of the old merchant’s household and the people who kept it running.

Janne’s Room has its own distinctive personality and tells another part of the story of the house. Like all our historic rooms, it combines the charm of an old wooden merchant’s home with the comfort expected from a memorable stay today.

When booking a Historic Double Room, you are booking the room category rather than a specific named room. Your room will be selected from Sofia, Anna or Janne according to availability. You are welcome to let us know if you have a favourite, and we will always do our best to fulfil your wish, although a specific room cannot be guaranteed.
