In Finland, children don't have to travel somewhere to meet Santa Claus. Traditionally, Santa comes to visit the family at home.
For generations, Finnish children have waited for a familiar knock at the door on Christmas Eve. Santa steps inside, spends time with the family, listens to the children's Christmas wishes and traditionally hands out the presents himself.
At the House of Lang, this beloved Finnish tradition continues in the Christmas atmosphere of a historic nineteenth-century merchant house.
Enjoy a private, unhurried visit with Finland's traditional Santa Claus, with time for conversation, Christmas wishes and family photographs. Gingerbread biscuits and warm berry juice are served during the experience.
To make the visit even more personal, families may provide one wrapped gift per child in advance. Santa will present the gift during the visit, continuing a tradition familiar to generations of Finnish families.
The experience is available for individual families and private groups during the Christmas season.
