Merchant’s Christmas Dinner

Hosted at Langin Kauppahuone in the old wooden town of Raahe, Merchant's Christmas Dinner invites guests to gather around the table and discover how Christmas has traditionally been celebrated on Finland's northern coast. Rather than a theatrical performance, the experience focuses on authentic hospitality, seasonal food traditions and the peaceful atmosphere that has long been at the heart of Finnish Christmas celebrations.

Guests are welcomed into candlelit dining rooms decorated with Christmas trees, traditional ornaments and seasonal details. Soft Finnish Christmas music and the historic surroundings create a warm and intimate setting for the evening.

The dinner is served as a generous buffet featuring traditional Finnish Christmas dishes. The selection includes cold and warm starters, fish and meat specialties, seasonal side dishes, salads and festive desserts. Vegetarian options are also available. The buffet format allows guests to explore different flavours at their own pace and return to their favourites throughout the evening.
