Vanamo (the upstairs of the main building)

The rooms in the main building offer a cozy accommodation option throughout the year. During the summer, you can also stay in our outhouse, which dates back to the 19th century. Our yard area also offers space for camping or hanging a hammock at the edge of the forest. Some rooms are dog-friendly, but the common areas are dog-free. Please note that our accommodation facilities are not accessible. 

Our guesthouse is located in a national park, and we strive for ecological practices in our accommodation services. We have two clean composting toilets available for guests. Most guests wash up in the traditional outdoor sauna, but there is also a shower stall available on the upstairs of the main building if needed. The water in our guesthouse comes from our own well and is drinkable. We recycle all of our waste. Recycling points can be found in the main building’s entrance and in the upstairs guest kitchen. On the upstairs of the main building, you’ll find the guest kitchen, where you can get drinking water and cook freely. The kitchen is equipped with a stove, microwave, fridge, freezer, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, and necessary dishes. 

The price of your accommodation includes a delicious breakfast, served in the cozy living room of the main building from 8:30 to 9:30. We only use the finest ingredients in our homemade breakfast. We serve our freshly baked bread and cook the oatmeal slowly to achieve a soft, velvety texture, adding a pinch of cardamom. 

Please note that this is an old building, so there are no separate soundproofing features. Quiet hours at our guesthouse are from 22:00 to 7:00. Free parking is available for guests. After bringing in your luggage, please move your car to the parking area (100m) or to the end of the building.
