Experience the nature and snowy landscape on skis with dogs. This is a perfect activity for those who are comfortable on skis and in good physical condition. Skiing with a dog is more demanding than skiing alone, but also great fun when you have the right skill level.
The tour lasts about 3 hours, including transfer, preparations, and a visit to our restaurant. The experience begins at the farm, where we prepare equipment and get the dogs ready. After a short 5-minute drive to Lake Altevatn, we put on our skis and the dogs’ harnesses — then off we go. The ski tour across the ice takes around 1 hour in beautiful surroundings, mostly on flat terrain, and the route is adapted to participants’ experience. After the tour you will be driven back to the farm, where you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea and a sweet treat in our restaurant.
