Dogsledding 5 hour program

Our 5-hour dog sledding program is ideal if you want more challenge and distance than the 3-hour option. It’s a great second tour if you’ve already completed the 3-hour program.

This tour requires a higher level of fitness and driving skill. The route includes more uphill and downhill sections than the short program, and the musher will need to assist the dogs more on the challenging parts of the trail.

At the beginning, you will receive a detailed introduction to dog sledding and how to handle the dogs safely. You will learn the most important routines and have the opportunity to experience our dogs up close. Direct contact with the dogs is a central part of the experience for us.

Afterwards, we head out into nature with the teams. Time spent on the sled is approximately 3 hours, depending on weather and snow conditions. If you like, you can drive your own dog team, but you don’t have to. Alternatively, you can also share a sled. Children from around 16 years old can also drive their own sled.

After the tour, we return to the farm where you can warm up in our restaurant with coffee or tea and a sweet treat.
