A private sauna and SPA experience surrounded by the peace of the North

Enjoy complete privacy at the House of Northern Senses Modern SPA Style Sauna, only about a 15-minute drive from Ruka. For two hours, the sauna, heated pool and lounge areas are reserved exclusively for you and your group.

Relax in the warmth of a modern Finnish sauna, swim in the heated indoor pool and enjoy unhurried time together in your private sauna lounge. Between sauna sessions, cool down in our sheltered Vilpola relaxation area or step outside into the fresh northern air.

Choose your own way to cool down. In summer and autumn, take a refreshing swim in Lake Pikku Porontima. In winter, cool down in soft snow or experience an authentic Finnish ice dip. The heated indoor pool provides a wonderfully warm contrast to the fresh northern nature throughout the year.

The experience is ideal for couples, families, groups of friends and small private groups – and a perfect way to relax after an active day outdoors.

What to bring
Please bring your own swimwear. Towels are included. Lake swimming, ice swimming and cooling down in the snow are undertaken according to each guest's own health, ability and judgement.

Complete your private SPA experience
Bringing your own drinks is not permitted. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase on site. The House of Northern Senses lounge bar can be enjoyed before or after your SPA experience when the facilities are not reserved for the private use of staying guests.

You can complement your private SPA experience with pre-ordered food, drinks or a meal. Return transfers from Ruka Village or Kuusamo town centre can also be arranged subject to availability. Enquiries: info@northernsenses.com.

Arrival
Address: Virkkulantie 82, 93830 Rukatunturi. Free parking is available in the courtyard. Please arrive at the main house 15 minutes before your private SPA session. Reservation and payment are required in advance.

The product can be booked online for 1–10 guests. Larger groups of up to 15 guests may be possible subject to availability – please contact info@northernsenses.com.
