NEW FOR 2025: Hideaway South with Soak Tub - Self-service stay

A place where time slows down and the forest breathes around you. For 2025, Hideaway South gets an exciting upgrade: a wood-fired outdoor soak tub, running water (outdoors), a summer kitchen, and a private hang-out area to make your stay even more special.

Arrive to an unhurried evening—take a forest walk, bike to a nearby pond, or simply relax. As dusk falls, light the fire under the soak tub, sink into the warm water, and sip a cool drink. Around you, just the peaceful forest and the setting sun.

Wake to sunrise and birdsong. If you've pre-ordered breakfast, freshly baked cinnamon buns and other local treats will be waiting on your cabin’s doorstep.

Before you book:
Hilltop Forest is not a hotel or campsite but a peaceful nature retreat. Your stay is self-guided, with no staff or services on-site. Hilltop House and the Forest Spa are not available during your visit.

Arrival instructions will be sent by email. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM.

Your stay includes:

• Overnight stay in a minimalist Hideaway Cabin

• Outdoor soak tub & firewood; heated by you, takes approx. 2 hours

• Running cold water outdoors, with a small amount of warm water from the outdoor kitchen tap (no shower, but you can rinse off)

• Outdoor kitchen with a camping gas grill & stovetop (+ indoor fridge)

• Hang-out area with Hay lounge chairs

• Hilltop linen bathrobes, sheets & towels

• Hilltop bicycles available (first come, first served)

• Final cleaning

Extras:

• Breakfast delivered to your cabin (€28/person) (must be pre-ordered, details on the next page)

• No other meal services—please bring your own food & drinks

Cabin amenities:

• 140 cm bed with a Matri mattress & linen sheets

• Silent fridge, electric kettle, coffee & tea

• Clean drinking water from the outdoor tap

• Dishware, wine glasses & cookware

• Small writing desk (no dining table)

• Air-source heat pump; heating & cooling

• Private outdoor composting toilet (“huussi”) next to the cabin

• Linen eye masks (no curtains in the cabin)

• Electricity: reading lamps & power outlets

Swimming?

• A 15-minute walk takes you to a beautiful pond with a rocky shoreline. Directions will be sent with your arrival instructions.

Children or a third guest

• A third guest stays free if you bring your own mattress/travel bed (or if a child shares the bed). If so, book for two guests and mention the third guest in the "Additional Info" section.

• If you book for three guests, we will prepare an extra bed (floor mattress) in advance.

• The stay is a wonderful experience with children as well, but families should note that the area is rocky and not suitable for younger children without constant supervision.

Cancellation policy

• Cancel up to 2 weeks before arrival for a refund minus a €15 processing fee.

• Up to 7 days before arrival, you can reschedule to another available date within the same season (price differences are not refunded). No changes or refunds after this point, including in case of illness.
