Hideaway North, Pet Friendly - Self-service stay

The Hideaway Cabins are now on winter break. They’ll reopen in May, with the booking calendar opening in February/March. We’ll share more details on Instagram closer to the time. During winter we’ll keep one Hideaway open for photoshoots and as an extra experience or bedroom for Hilltop House guests. These bookings are made via email.

A place where time slows down, and the forest breathes around you. Hideaway North offers a peaceful escape. For the 2025 season, the cabin gets a new outdoor kitchen and outdoor furniture.

This cabin is also pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friend along for the adventure.

As you arrive, an unhurried evening awaits—a walk in the forest, a bike ride to the pond, or simply unwinding at your cabin. Around you, only the stillness of the forest and the rhythm of nature.

In the morning, you wake to the sunrise and birdsong. And if you’ve pre-ordered breakfast, freshly baked cinnamon buns and other local treats will be waiting on your doorstep.

Before you book

Hilltop Forest is not a hotel or campsite but a tranquil nature experience. Your stay is self-guided, with no staff or services on-site.

Please note that this cabin does not have a soak tub, running water, or a shower. The outdoor kitchen does not have a tap. Hilltop House and the Forest Spa are not available, and there are no public saunas or shower facilities or a camp fire area.

Arrival instructions will be sent by email. Check-in from 3:00 PM, check-out by 12:00 PM.

Your stay includes:

• Overnight stay in a minimalist Hideaway Cabin

• Outdoor kitchen: camping gas grill

• HAY lounge chairs

• Drinking water (2 x 1L bottles) – please bring additional water as needed

• Private outdoor composting toilet ("huussi") next to the cabin, with hand-washing water

• Hilltop bed linens & hand towels

• Hilltop bicycles available (first come, first served)

• Final cleaning

Extras:

• Breakfast delivered to your cabin, €28/person (must be pre-ordered, details on the next page)

• No other meal services—please bring your own food & drinks

Cabin amenities:

• 140 cm bed, high-quality Matri mattress & linen sheets

• Silent fridge, electric kettle, coffee/tea

• Basic dishware & wine glasses

• Small writing desk (no dining table)

• Air-source heat pump (heating & cooling)

• Linen eye masks (no curtains in the cabin)

• Electricity: reading lamps & power outlets

Swimming?

• A 15-minute walk takes you to a beautiful pond with a rocky shoreline.

Cancellation policy

• Cancellations up to 3 days before arrival will be refunded minus a €15 processing fee.

• Up to 48 hours before arrival, you may reschedule your stay for another available date within the same season (price differences are not refunded). No changes or refunds after this point, including in case of illness.
