Self-service Hideaway cabin (no other services available)

YOUR HIDEAWAY CABIN INCLUDES:

• Sleep in a minimalist 9m² Hideaway cabin in the serene forest of Hilltop

• A 140cm wide bed with high-quality Matri mattresses and beautiful linen bedding, made ready for you

• A small desk (no other table)

• Self-adjustable cabin temperature (air heat pump): heated during colder months and air-conditioned in the summer

• Private outdoor toilet (“Huussi”) next to the cabin (not heated), with handwashing water and hand soap

• Hand and face towels

• Linen eye/sleep masks (please note that the cabin does not have curtains)

• The cabin has electricity; two reading lamps and power outlets

• PLEASE NOTE: during a self-service stay, there are NO SHOWER FACILITIES AVAILBLE (and our forest spa is closed).

SWIMMING

About a 10-minute walk away, there is a lovely small pond for swimming (access from the rocks, not a beach). Further details will be provided along with your door code on the arrival day.

SELF-CATERING CABIN RENTAL

By booking this Hideaway cabin, you will be staying at Hilltop Forest during a time when our food services and forest spa (showers) are closed.

Check-in is done remotely, and a room key code will be provided via text message. Check-in from 15:00, check-out by 12:00.

Remember to bring your own food and breakfast. During your stay, our food services are not available, and our service staff is not onsite. There are no outdoor cooking facilities available.

The cabin is equipped with the following:

• Small silent fridge

• Electric kettle

• Tea and coffee

• Drinking water 2 x 750ml

• Wine glasses and a wine opener

• Mugs, drinking glasses, and utensils (bring your own plates)

• Napkins

CHILDREN OR 3RD GUEST

A third person (child or adult) can be added at no extra cost if you bring your own additional mattress/travel cot (or if the child sleeps with parents in the same bed). Note that the cabin is small, but an 80cm mattress fits nicely next to the bed.

You can also order an additional mattress and bedding for the 3rd guest through us. This can be added to the booking on the next 'Additional services' page (€35).

Hideaway cabin is a lovely experience with children, but families should note that the area is rocky and not safe for small children without constant supervision. The Hideaway cabin does not have curtains, so the morning sun might wake you early.

THE AREA

Exploring, walking, and unwinding in the Hilltop forest is delightful. There are no shared campfires, rental equipment, or other services available; our intention is to maintain the area in its simple, beautiful, and peaceful state. The nearest restaurants and shops are ca. 10-minute drive away.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Self-service Hideaway cabin reservations can be canceled up to 48 hours before the start of the reservation, with a refund of the reservation value (excluding a €10 admin fee). Cancellations within 24 hours of the reservation start are not possible, but you can reschedule to an available date during the same season. After this period, changes are not possible (this applies also due to illness).
