Velhonkulma is a brand-new log cabin located in Ylläs, in the village of Äkäslompolo. With accommodations for up to 12 people, this villa offers excellent amenities for a relaxing vacation. Upstairs, there are five generously sized bedrooms with ample storage space for clothes. Soundproof acoustic doors and room-specific ventilation ensure peaceful nights of sleep. Additionally, there is a pull-out bed for two in the room downstairs, which can be separated with a glass door for added privacy.

The open-plan kitchen is well-designed and equipped with high-quality cooking utensils and serving dishes. Additionally, there is a striking oak dining table and tableware for 12 people. The living room features a cozy fireplace and a 65-inch flat-screen TV. Outside on the west-facing terrace, there is a dining table and a Weber grill.

Downstairs, you'll find a spacious entrance hall, a toilet, laundry facilities, and plenty of practical storage space. A stylish large bathroom leads to a spacious sauna, with room for up to 6 bathers. The lounge area includes a sofa group, a fridge, stereo, and another TV. You can enjoy cooling off on the terrace after a sauna session.

The villa offers fiber optic WLAN, enabling excellent remote work capabilities. Heating is provided by geothermal energy, ensuring comfortable temperatures year-round.

Tenants also have access to a heated 60 m2 garage, equipped with another washing machine, 2 drying cabinets, a ski maintenance rack, and storage space for various sports equipment. Charging for electric cars is possible both in the garage and in the carport.

Velhonkulma is located in an excellent location between the Ylläs ski slopes and the village of Äkäslompolo. There is a bus connection from both the airport and the train station to Äkäslompolo. There is only 500 m from the bus stop to the villa. The distance from the villa to the shop is 2 km and to the slopes 3 km. The village restaurants offer versatile options.

A ski bus operates between Äkäslompolo and Ylläsjärvi. These ski resorts are connected to each other via both ski tracks and ski slopes. You can access illuminated ski tracks directly from your the yard. By climbing the nearby track 1 km towards the fell, you reach a 3-km-long "warm track" where the temperature rarely drops below -17°C. Ylläs' track network covers up to 300 km of maintained tracks.

Ylläs-Pallas National Park offers Finland's largest hiking and cycling routes. In the summer of 2023, a new Bikestreet downhill biking trail was completed.
