Travel by snowmobile-pulled sled through snowy forests to reach the vast grazing grounds, where hundreds of reindeer roam freely across the white landscape. Guided by a local herder, you’ll witness how traditional knowledge and modern herding methods come together in everyday life.
Along the way, you’ll stop for photos and visit the reindeer fences, where herds are gathered and sorted according to the season’s needs. The journey leads to a lean-on hut next to the reindeer round-up area, where you’ll warm up with traditional campfire coffee and local snacks as your host shares stories passed down through generations of reindeer herders.
