Named after our most frequent wild visitor, the red squirrel (orava in Finnish), Orava is a cabin designed by us for guests looking to experience a quieter side of Finnish Lapland.

Surrounded by peaceful forest and located beside our guesthouse, Orava combines Nordic design, natural materials and thoughtful details to create a place where slowing down comes naturally.

After a day exploring Lapland, light the wood-burning fire and settle into the warmth of the cabin. Whether you spend the evening reading a book, listening to music or simply watching the forest through the large windows, Orava has been created as a place to pause and reconnect with nature.

Like everything at Foxfires, every detail has been carefully considered by us, from the layout and interior design to the furniture, lighting and finishing touches, creating a space that feels calm, comfortable and connected to its surroundings.

A good night’s sleep is important to us, which is why we have chosen premium Finnish bedding from Joutsen and Balmuir, made using high-quality, responsibly sourced natural materials.

Although Orava is a self-catered cabin, you can also order one of our breakfast packs to enjoy during your stay.
