Archipelago Cooking Class Special: SAUNA DINNER & COOKING IN THE SAUNA

In Finland, people don't just go to the sauna to sweat. They also cook there! Stew dishes prepared on the hot stones of the sauna stove are typical for cooking in the sauna. But believe us – there's more! While you're cooking in the sauna, we'll prepare a very special 3 + 1 course menu and show you how and what you can cook in a Finnish sauna. Between sauna sessions, you will dine at a set table on the sauna terrace (you will of course wear swimwear and a bathrobe in the sauna and during dinner). A private, unique and culinary sauna dinner that you will not forget in a hurry!

A positive attitude! Swimwear and bathrobe. All necessary ingredients and equipment will be provided on site.

About the course

The course takes place in small groups and begins with a relaxing sauna cocktail (non-alcoholic) so that everyone can get to know each other. After a brief introduction to the courses, Sami will prepare the dishes for you in the sauna and explain the ingredients and how they are prepared. We cook on the sauna stove using excellent regional ingredients while you relax :-) You will eat each course between sauna sessions at a beautifully laid table on the sauna terrace.

The courses are designed to be fun and give you an insight into the aromatic diversity of the island world. In each course, you will receive valuable information on the respective topic and the culture of the Finnish archipelago. So that you can recreate the dishes at home, you will receive a personal, beautifully designed recipe from us at the end of the cooking event.

The courses are suitable for all cooking skills and are an excellent opportunity to immerse yourself in the flavours of the Finnish archipelago and inspire your own creativity. To ensure that everyone in the course understands everything, the courses are mainly held in English. However, we also speak German and Finnish and can switch between languages.
