Hillagammi

Hillagammi is like the pearl of the Kaldoaivi wilderness area. It is unique and a beautiful little cottage located in the valley of Avvatsohka. The cabin offers total privacy. You won't find any neighbours nearby, and the closest road is 5 kilometers away. Here you are truly part of nature.

​It is also perfect for fishermen, willow grouse hunters or hikers. Or just for anyone who wants to find a peaceful place. Hillagammi is also a very romantic getaway for couples.
Hillagammi is the perfect place to see the northern lights because it is out of reach of any city light.

The cottage accommodates up to 6 persons. It doesn't have running water, so you can fetch it from the crystal clear stream next to the cottage.

There is an approximately 5 kilometers long trail leading to Hillagammi. By winter you can reach the cottage by cross country skis or snowshoes, or we can provide you a snowmobile lift or a rental snowmobile. In the summertime, you can hike or mountain bike to the cottage or we can take you and/or your luggage by ATV. We will charge extra for the transportation services. Mobile phones don't always operate well in the area. A WIFI router can be provided for an extra cost.
